I've seen the word TITO? What is that?
TITO stands for "Ticket In Ticket Out."
It refers to a ticket/voucher produced by a slot machine instead of cashing out coins.
Why make this change in Alberta?
Coinless technology has become the standard and is in about 80% of the casinos in North America and Canadian jurisdictions such as BC, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Is there a benefit to slot players?

Can tickets be redeemed at a different casino?
No, the ticket can only be redeemed at the casino where the play took place.
How long are the tickets valid?
Tickets are valid for up to 30 days from the cash out date.
How are tickets cashed in or redeemed?
1. Players can take tickets cashed out from one slot terminal to another slot and insert it into the bill acceptor.
2. Players can take tickets to the Stampede Casino cashier window.
3. Players can take their tickets to a self-redemption kiosk.
What if a ticket is lost or stolen?
Lost or stolen tickets are just like cash and can be redeemed by the holder; so this would make it a police issue.
What if there is no ticket printed when cashing out from a slot?
Players should contact a Stampede Casino staff member for assistance.

When will your new Calgary Stampede Casino open?
The beautiful new Stampede Casino is scheduled to open in June, 2008. We will post updates on a regular basis. Click this link to see recent pictures of the construction progress and artists' depictions of what the interior will look like. Be sure to check back often!
Is the Casino smoking or smoke-free?
The Alberta government enacted a law Jan. 1, 2008, that prohibits smoking indoors. All casinos in Alberta are now NON-SMOKING. Our new Calgary Stampede Casino will be the first Casino to open in Alberta that is built 100% smoke-free!
What are the hours of operation at Stampede Casino?
Our doors open at 9:30am so you can have breakfast! Slots are open from 10am to 3am; Tables from 12 noon to 2am.
Is Stampede Casino open year round?
Almost! Open everyday except Christmas, December 25.
What is your main phone number and the Poker Room number?
Main line is 403.261-0422 and the Poker Room is 403.261.0174.
Do I have to pay to park?
Only once! Visit Guest Relations on your first visit and sign up for "Club Stampede." Membership includes Free entry to our exclusive "Club Stampede Members Only" parking lot whenever you visit Calgary Stampede Casino. Your access to this lot is located off 25th Avenue from the south entrance to Stampede Park. Check here for a helpful map
Does Stampede Casino offer Table Games dealer training?
See "Jobs". Or give us a call at 403.261-0422 and ask for Linda. She handles the Poker Dealer and Blackjack school dates for our 2008 sessions.
How can I obtain used playing cards?
Contact Linda at 403.261.0422 with your request. Once a package has been put together, Linda will contact you, and your cards can be picked up at any time from the Casino Administration Office. Out-of-city requests will be mailed. (Quantities restricted on out-of-town orders.) For a souvenir deck of playing cards that was previously, 'gently used' here at Stampede Casino, stop by our Guest Relations kiosk and ask one of the friendly and helpful staff members! Our Guest Relations centre is where you will also find numerous souvenir items available for purchase.
